The National Parks Board has officially surrendered all sovereignty to the Bishan-Pasir Ris otter family, declaring them the supreme overlords of the island’s waterways.

Following a series of high-profile hits on $20,000 ornamental koi, the semi-aquatic rodents have been granted a permanent seat in Parliament and a lifetime supply of taxpayer-funded sashimi.

"Wah lau, those otters damn power sia, eat my boss’s gold fish then still can pose for selfie," remarked site supervisor Ah Hock.
