The humanoid robot that collapsed at the Beijing Half Marathon has been granted an immediate S-Pass to join Singapore’s workforce.

Authorities noted that the robot’s ability to completely break down under mild pressure makes it the perfect cultural fit for the local civil service.

SME owners across the island have praised the machine, stating that a worker who can literally shut down and be carried away by staff is much easier to manage than a human asking for a pay rise.

The robot reportedly decided to malfunction after its AI processed the local cost of living and concluded that total system failure was the most logical financial move.

"It didn't crash; it just achieved the ultimate level of 'lying flat'," explained one tech expert, referring to the popular burnout trend.

Government-linked firms are already bidding to place the robot in high-ranking management positions, where its talent for being immobile and expensive can be fully utilized.

Meanwhile, local university students have started worshipping the scrap metal as a deity of realistic career expectations.
