Singapore’s collective inferiority complex received a massive boost this week after a Hollywood-adjacent nonprofit handed Dennis Chew an award for "Outstanding Promo Demo."

The win marks the first time Americans have listened to a Singaporean speak without immediately asking for English subtitles or a refund.

Chew, who spends his mornings on radio and his nights struggling through an SUSS degree, is reportedly "touched" that someone finally listened to him without being stuck in a jam on the PIE.
