The Law Society of Singapore has officially launched disciplinary proceedings against the disgraced Opposition Leader, finally acknowledging that lying under oath is generally frowned upon outside of a political rally.

Legal experts are reportedly baffled that a man trained in the law would mistake a High Court hearing for a casual gossip session at the wet market.

The Court of Three Judges is now tasked with deciding if the lawyer’s “innovative approach to the truth” warrants a permanent ban from the legal profession.
