Mall Food Court Charges $25 ‘Heritage Fee’ For Lukewarm Water
BreadTalk Group has unveiled its newest food court featuring air-conditioning so aggressive it triggers immediate stage-one hypothermia.
Patrons are queuing for hours to pay $19 for a bowl of laksa served in a bowl professionally chipped to simulate 1960s poverty.
To enhance the "heritage" atmosphere, the management hired "Aunties" specifically trained in tactical screeching and tray-return intimidation techniques.
"Wah lao, the noodles taste like wet cardboard but the floor got vintage tiles, so $20 is quite steal leh," said local office worker, Tan Ah Kow.
The venue also features a revolutionary "No-Chair" policy to ensure customers evacuate the premises before their overpriced food actually touches their stomach lining.
"I wait one hour for seat, end up must clear table or kena fine $300—this is real Singapore spirit, steady poom poom!" remarked another shivering diner.
Scientists confirmed the mall’s "Heritage Air" contains 40% more dust and corporate arrogance than standard oxygen.
