The Singapore Civil Defence Force was called to Tanjong Beach yesterday after a local woman’s ribcage fused permanently with her spine during a three-hour "candid" photo shoot.

The victim was reportedly attempting a "lepak chic" aesthetic, which involves paying $500 for a daybed to look like she isn’t trying at all.

"I see her hold breath until face turn purple, then she collapse like wet tissue," said witness Ah Hock, who was judging people from the free sand area.

"I ask her if okay, she just point at her iPhone and say 'Eh help me take one more, low angle please, I look fat'," he added.

Doctors confirm that 90% of beach club patrons are now suffering from chronic heatstroke-induced delusions of grandeur.

"Last time lepak just sit under tree, now must rent sunbed and act like Hollywood star until siao," commented a paramedic while administering oxygen.

Management reminds patrons that while their bank accounts are bleeding, their edited photos look moderately acceptable to strangers.
