Singapore Smart Home System Automatically Reports Sinkie For Excessive Napping
The Singapore government has unveiled a mandatory "Smart Home Efficiency" firmware update that disables air-conditioning if a resident’s heart rate indicates "undesirable lounging."
Integrated sensors now monitor flat activity, locking the smart-fridge if the occupant fails to contribute at least three LinkedIn posts per day.
"Siao liao, I just want to watch Netflix, but the smart light keep flashing red and calling me a 'low-value citizen'," complained local resident Tan Ah Kow.
HDB officials confirmed that the "Automated Shaming System" is designed to ensure no square footage in land-scarce Singapore is wasted on non-contributing members of society.
The system also automatically notifies the authorities if it detects more than two minutes of non-productive staring at the wall.
"The smart toilet even tell me my diet is 'economically unsustainable' and refuse to flush," added Tan, while fanning himself with a printed copy of his CPF statement.
