The Ministry of Defence has received a formal petition from a local woman demanding the Star of Temasek for her bravery in dumping her boyfriend during his first week of confinement.

Cheryl Tan, 22, argues that her "emotional service" of enduring three phone calls about leopard crawls and SAF-issued underwear constitutes a heroic sacrifice.

"Eh, you think easy ah, every weekend must hear him complain about his sergeant and how the cookhouse chicken damn dry," Cheryl said while swiping on a replacement partner with a corporate job and a Mercedes.

She claims that the mental toll of dating a man who smells like camouflage cream and repressed trauma is far more strenuous than anything involving a heavy field pack.

"I already tell him that his jungle training very shag, but my clubbing schedule also very packed one, so I cannot wait for him for two years," she added while permanently blocking his number.
