Singapore’s legal system is braced for impact as local woman, Cheryl Tan, sues her fiancé for "gross negligence" after his proposal failed to make the evening news.

The 26-year-old marketing manager claims that the 2-carat diamond was "practically invisible to the naked eye" and did not spark a single seizure among her Instagram followers.
