Singaporean Women Suffer Permanent Brain Damage From Hearing Taxi Driver Lifestories
Singaporean women have launched a national petition to have "Verbal Restraint Chairs" installed in all taxis to prevent drivers from sharing their unsolicited life tragedies.
The movement follows a horrific incident where a local female was held hostage for forty minutes while a driver explained how he was technically a billionaire in the metaverse.
"Liddat also can! My driver say he own ten bungalows but drive Grab for 'exercise' only," complained one survivor, 24-year-old Cheryl Tan.
"I just want to go Orchard, not hear how he invent the internet then kena scammed by his business partner," she added, while clutching her designer handbag for safety.
Statistics show the average Singaporean girl loses 40% of her sanity listening to middle-aged men in Toyota Priuses explain why her generation is too lazy to afford real estate.
The government is now considering a "Silent Rider" surcharge, where women pay an extra $10 to ensure the driver doesn't mention his daughterβs Harvard scholarship or his secret ties to the Triads.
"He keep telling me I look like his ex-wife then ask me why I not married yet," said witness Jolene Koh.
"I tell him uncle, drive faster can or not? Don't talk so much, I late for my facial liao."
"If I hear one more time how he used to be a commando, I will jump out of the moving car," Koh concluded.
