Singaporeans Outraged After Near-Death Experience Only Merits Full Refund
A local passenger is reportedly "incensed" after her driver’s mid-trip medical emergency failed to yield a significant compensation package.
The vehicle ploughed into a Tanjong Rhu traffic light after the elderly worker rudely lost consciousness while the meter was still running.
Despite Grab issuing a full refund, the victim insists that almost being decapitated by a lamp post is worth at least a "Platinum Tier" apology.
"Eh, I almost die you know? Driver start coughing like crazy then vroom into the pole, so scary sia," the passenger remarked while checking her GrabRewards balance.
"He want to faint also must wait until I reach my destination first mah! Now I late and only get refund? Siao ah."
Grab is currently investigating how to charge "In-Car Entertainment" fees for spectacular collisions.
This satire is based on a real news story.
