A local man has officially served his girlfriend a Letter of Demand following a subpar birthday performance.

Lim Teck Huat, 29, claims the $500 Omakase dinner was a strategic investment meant to yield high-frequency rhythmic returns.

"I spend so much on the wagyu, but she just lay there like a frozen prata," Lim complained to reporters.

"I tell her, eh hello, I pay for the premium omakase, you give me the budget hotel service ah?"

The dispute escalated when the girlfriend countered with a bill for emotional labour during the three-minute encounter.

"He think he what? One dinner then can unlock all the premium positions is it?" she remarked while filing her own police report.

The couple is currently negotiating a settlement involving future high-end handbags and more enthusiastic groaning.
