Mediacorp has officially launched its annual digital Hunger Games, demanding that Singaporeans pretend they can distinguish between 165 nearly identical "artistes."

The state broadcaster confirmed that a veteran leading man and a long-standing starlet will finally be put out to pasture in the "All-Time Favourite" category.

This prestigious induction serves as a polite retirement home for those who have successfully dominated the heartland’s television screens for a decade.

The remaining 163 hopefuls must now scramble for popularity, a feat usually achieved by bullying tech-illiterate grandmothers into spamming the voting portal.

"Aiyoh, I see the face also don't know who is who leh," complained one resident, Mdm Tan.

"I just anyhow click the one with the loudest hair lor, confirm plus chop win one."
