Sinkie's Trapped E-Wallet Cents Declared New Singapore National Reserve
The Monetary Authority of Singapore has officially reclassified the billions of "stray cents" rotting in dormant e-wallets as the nation’s primary financial defence.
These funds, consisting of unwithdrawable $0.04 balances from apps like ShopeePay and YouTrip, now exceed the GDP of several crumbling Balkan states.
Finance officials noted that while no citizen can buy a single sweet with their leftover balance, the collective "loose change" can fund three aircraft carriers.
Local resident Tan Ah Kow expressed immense pride while staring at the $0.22 digital balance he will never spend.
"Liddat also can ah, my twenty cents now helping gahmen buy more surveillance is it?" Mr Tan remarked.
"I want to cash out also cannot, might as well let the big shots buy another private jet lor!"
The state now encourages citizens to top up $50 whenever they need to pay a $50.10 merchant fee.
