The government has officially declared the thousands of rusted oBike carcasses littering the island as protected national monuments.

National Heritage Board officials claim the corroded yellow frames represent the pinnacle of local innovation: stealing deposits and fleeing to international waters.

"I like them leh, the rust add character to my void deck, very vintage feel," said local resident Tan Ah Kow.

These twisted piles of scrap metal, frequently found submerged in Geylang drains or dangling from angsana trees, are now mandatory viewing for all incoming tourists.

"Wah lau, last time I pay deposit fifty dollars never get back, now at least can call it 'art' lor," grumbled another citizen.

LTA confirmed that any attempt to move the tetanus-ridden relics will result in a $50,000 fine for desecrating public history.
