Local travel agency "The Outside" has defended its decision to market an active volcano trek as "beginner-friendly," noting that being vaporized by a tectonic tantrum is an inclusive experience requiring zero prior training.

A spokesperson clarified that while some hikers complained about the "lack of oxygen" and "molten debris," the trip technically fulfilled its promise of a once-in-a-lifetime adventure by ensuring many participants never had to book another holiday again.

"We believe in making extreme nature accessible to everyone," the agency stated, while removing Instagram posts featuring tourists posing on a literal ticking time bomb.

Survivors were reportedly annoyed that the volcanic ash ruined their expensive North Face jackets and that the eruption didn’t offer a QR code for a digital certificate of participation.

The agency is now pivoting to other entry-level expeditions, including "Toddler-Friendly" swims in shark-infested waters and "Senior-Friendly" strolls through a live artillery range.
